The Josephine Butler Educational Trust was set up in 1966 for charitable purposes.
The Josephine Butler Educational Trust – registered charity number 250355 – was set up in 1966 for charitable purposes (including the making of grants) to advance education and the dissemination of knowledge. The Trustees may also use the Trust’s funds to support the study of sex work, and the dissemination of knowledge about it.

The Trustees may make grants to organisations and individuals; they may also sponsor research and/ or cooperate with others in the furtherance of the Trust’s objects. We expect that recipients of any grants will present to the Trust the results, outcomes, or conclusions of their studies.
